MEET OUR TEAM

I am a member of the Law Society and was admitted as a solicitor in 2002 after obtaining a double degree in Commerce and Law from Macquarie University.

Having been admitted as a solicitor for over 9 years, I have gained a wealth of claims experience working for legal practices and also for insurance companies. I strongly believe that my experience working for insurers has given me a unique industry insight, which allows me to consistently negotiate maximum claim payouts for my clients.

I joined Law Partners as a claims solicitor in 2008 and I consider myself fortunate to be part of a firm who passionately believe in delivering quality client service and who will genuinely do whatever it takes to ensure client expectations are constantly exceeded.

I am responsible for managing a team of dedicated claim lawyers, paralegals and support staff and also manage my own portfolio of claim.

While my role can be challenging with hard work always required to produce the best outcomes for my clients, I enjoy going the extra mile. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role as a solicitor at Law Partners is the regular satisfaction which comes from fighting for the rights of my clients and recovering their claim entitlements. Knowing that I have given 100% of my effort to all of my clients and achieving great results for them is an extremely satisfying experience.

After completing studies at Sydney University, I graduated with a Diploma in Law from the Legal Profession Admission Board. Before joining Law Partners, I worked for a large litigation law firm and for experienced, specialised barristers. I was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court in 2010 and I am a member of the Law Society.

I enjoy working in a client-focused, experienced and well respected claims team at Law Partners. We all make ourselves readily available to speak with our clients so that we can answer any legal questions and ease any concerns they may have with regards to their claims.

My role includes taking initial client enquiries, offering expert legal advice on claim related issues, working with my clients to build strong cases and fighting for the rights of my clients against employers and their insurers.

To be successful in my role, I must carefully listen to my clients in order to prepare their cases well. I always ensure my clients are well informed and that they understand exactly what their rights and entitlements are. Once they know where they stand legally, my clients are then able to focus on their rehabilitation and getting back on their feet.

I take great care to ensure each and every one of my cases are investigated thoroughly in order to maximise the value of my clients' claims. The desire to provide an excellent service, maintain great communication and continue achieving great results all motivate me to work hard. It is this motivation that allows me to consistently dedicate 100% of my effort to all of my clients.

I hold a combined Economics and Law Degree and am a solicitor admitted in the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.

I am the joint founding partner of the firm and am the head of the firm’s practice management team.

As a partner of the firm, my role has a wide variety of responsibilities. I spend a good deal of my time managing client enquiries, developing policies and procedures that will benefit the firm’s long term aims and handling high-value claims.

My responsibilities include supporting various divisions and functional areas within the practice by advising on policies, best practices, structures and benchmarking as related to our areas of specialty.

Most of what I do is team-based and this fits within the philosophy of the firm. We work together to provide the best possible outcomes for our clients. That said, Law Partners is a place where individual achievement goes a long way. Everyone notices when someone is really pushing themselves for excellence. Our people are our greatest source of competitive advantage and both the firm and our clients benefit from our strict service-focused mentality.

I have over 6 years of claims experience having joined Law Partners in 2006. I completed studies to gain a Diploma of Business (Legal Services) from TAFE.

A major part of my role is communicating with our clients. We pride ourselves on being readily accessible to our clients and providing advice to them in an easy to understand manner. It is very important to me that our clients feel they can ask us as many questions as they like, any time.

Other aspects of my role include explaining the legal process to clients, as well as providing them with an understanding of their entitlements. I also review files and carry out research to support arguments our solicitors wish to use against the insurer, draft correspondence and follow up on the progress of claims to ensure they are resolved quickly.

I have been working in the legal profession since 2006. I joined the Law Partners team in 2009.

I commenced my legal career as a secretary, but wanted a bigger challenge and to be more able to help people. I have completed my Certificate IV in Business (Legal Studies) as well as a medical terminology course through Royal Prince Alfred Hospital which provides me with the knowledge to interpret complex medical reports.

In my role as a Paralegal, communication is key. I speak to clients on a constant basis, whether it’s asking questions, finding out how we can help them, discussing their health issues or facilitating the prompt payment of treatment expenses. I also communicate with insurers, service providers, barristers and medical professionals when preparing matters.

My job is both challenging and rewarding and it requires me to always be thinking ahead, taking the next step and following through, in order to ensure our client’s cases are prepared well for settlement.I enjoy working at Law Partners. I’m proud to be part of a professional team who are committed to delivering the highest levels of client service and who continue to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.
